Kids Say the Best Things

Matthew had to fill out a paper at school the first day asking what he wants to be when he grows up. Of course, Matthew doesn't want to grow up so that is his answer.

Tonight, at supper, I thought I'd see if his answer had changed, so I asked him again. Of course he gave me the same old standard reply.

A little while later he said he wants to be a villain when he grows up. Sometimes I can't understand what his says, this would be one of those times. I thought he said felon. I said, you want to be a felon? He repeats villain. Finally he says, you know Mom, a bad guy?

Phoenix finally fills me in and tells me he wants to be a villain, not a felon. Oh, that makes more sense. Lol. Where was my mind at?

So of course we had to explain to Matthew what happens to bad people, so hopefully we have steered him clear from the dark side, for now. LOL.
