When you think of little boys, and ask them what their favorite colors are, what do they say? Most little boys will tell you green or blue. Not Matthew. Do you want to know what this little boy's favorite color is??? YELLOW That's right. Yellow. He's definitely a bright kid.
As far as action figures go, most little like to the be the good guys. Not Matthew. He prefers the bad guys. lol.
A long while back, I would ask Matthew what he wants to be when he grows up. Usually he just says I don't want to grow up. One time he told me, he wants to be a felon. Or so I thought he said. I was shocked, a felon? Then I figured out what he was really saying.... a villian. lol. I don't think that's much better kiddo.
So I'm happy that Matthew doesn't follow suit with what every other little kid likes. He is definitely his OWN little person and that makes him much more special. When I was a kid, I wasn't like that, I followed the trends of other people.
I hope one day Matthew stands out as a LEADER in life. Not vice versa.
