Please Mom, Can I have some Fruitcake?

Matthew has been asking me for fruitcake for years. I've been hesitant to buy him some because truthfully, it sucks. So I broke down and bought him 1 last night. 

So he tried a couple bites and said he wanted to save the rest. I knew right then and there he didn't like it. He tried to be a good sport but I told him just be honest, it wouldn't hurt my feelings either way if he didn't like it. 

He didn't like it.
