So we will see. They would even go into his daycare setting to observe him. I think the paperwork said something about the cost not being over $1900 bucks... so thats not too bad, but they expect the payment in full in 90 days if I go that route.
He’s had a rough day today... not sure if he’s just not feeling well or what.
I was reading over the pamphlet that came with the packet and Matthew shows many characteristics...
-the little or odd eye contact
-not like to be cuddled (matthew’s ALWAYS hated this)
-social interaction
-withdrawn, very independent
-lacks speech development (has never said mama, dada) says very few things unless coached
-throws himself on the floor in fits of anger
-"looks through" people
-doesn’t like to sit with other kids at lunch at daycare, has to sit by himself
-seems hearing impared, takes a lot to get him to come or get his attention when his name is called repeatidly
just to name a few....
I just want to know what it is, to research it more. I am so frustrated at how difficult it is to get him the help he needs and get evaluations and things like that done.
I feel like I’m all alone trying to accomplish what a fricken doctor should be doing. Like they don’t want to help and I’m hanging in the wings waiting to figure out the next step.
I guess that’s all I have to say now.
